Villa Chamomile Poulades
Villa Chamomile is named after a nearby lake, which in the summer months turns into a large pasture of chamomile flowers.
Set in the beautiful and peaceful Ropa Valley and close to the east coast, the villa’s large and private grounds look out to a rich and gentle countryside of olive groves and cypress trees. No other houses can be seen.
The villa comprises two traditionally styled houses, joined by a delightful open‐air dining area, and two acres of enclosed gardens surrounding the swimming pool. Tall, wild oak trees, some strung with hammocks, provide natural shade in the grounds.
Country cottage styled furnishings of pine and oak and modern kitchens and bathrooms create an elegant home of refined comforts.
The main house has an open‐plan sitting room, dining area and well‐equipped kitchen with washing machine; one twin‐bedded room; bathroom with shower. Stairs to one double bedroom and one twin‐bedded room; bathroom with bath.
Shaded, outside terrace and kitchen area with barbeque.
The Guest House has an open‐plan sitting room and kitchenette; bathroom with shower. Stairs to one twin‐bedded room.
WIFI throughout the House is available.
TV & CD player, air‐conditioning in all bedrooms.
The ropa valley Golf Club is a ten minute drive; nearby beaches and villages for shops and tavernas include Ermones, Glyfada and Paliokastritsa.
The nearby beach at Myrtiotissa, in front of a small 14th Century monastery, was referred to by Lauwrence Durell as ‘perhaps the loveliest beach in the world’.
